5/4/2020 0 Comments ILLNESSReally important! If you are feeling unwell- even if you feel it's non-contagious (i.e. allergies)- please stay home. When the body is already dealing with sickness symptoms- the massage, which is a stimulation of circulation and removal of toxins, might just add to those existing symptoms and make you more sick. Be advised if you choose to come in while you're feeling unwell, you will be declined service and may be placed on a service hold indefinitely for violating our wellness policy. This protocol will be strictly enforced with no exceptions.
5/4/2020 0 Comments Important: New PoliciesAHP is preparing to open our doors as soon as the executive order is lifted and we are allowed to start seeing clients again. A brand new sanitation and disinfecting practice is in place to properly insure that the risks for contamination are minimized. This includes abiding by the safe distance practice and no physical touch (except by therapist while in session). It hurts us to implement the no hugs or handshakes but it's for your safety as well as ours. AHP will also be taking your temperature as soon as you arrive. You will either be handed a thermometer strip to place on your forehead or a no-contact infrared thermometer will be used to read your temperature. If your temperature is elevated we will decline service and reschedule for a minimum 2-3 weeks. We ask that every person wash their hands just before session and after session- there are sinks, antibacterial soap and a small towel provided in the treatment room for each individual.
